Israel is ready to consider a military solution to the issue of Iran's nuclear program. Alexander Ben Zvi, Israel's acting ambassador to Moscow, said this in an interview with TASS.

“All options,” the diplomat said when asked whether Israel is ready to consider military options to resolve the issue of Iran's nuclear program.

Commenting on the recent phone conversation between the leaders of the Russian Federation and the United States, Ben Zvi said it was encouraging, but only if it translates into real action. “One should not forget that indeed Russia has close cooperation with Iran. If Russia through this cooperation can influence, for example, the stopping of Iran's nuclear program, then this is really a very important step. This yes, gives hope,” he emphasized.

“I know that the United States will take some steps in this direction always. If Iran agrees to this and stops threatening every day to wipe Israel off the map, then of course there will be opportunities for a more peaceful process. And if not, then all options are open,” Ben Zvi added.
