Turkish regulator BTK reported the blocking of Russian video hosting site Rutube in Turkey, RIA Novosti reports.

“Access to the site rutube.ru is blocked by the decision of BTK dated February 25, 2025,” - stated in the message that appears when trying to open the video hosting.

Access to the site is blocked at various cellular operators and home Internet providers, the media outlet notes.

Also, instead of the site, users are shown excerpts from the Turkish Penal Code with a warning that “illegal gambling can be used to finance terrorism.”
