According to Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin will not give up on ending the war in Ukraine, Fox News reports.

“I don’t think he’s [i.e. Putin] going to go back on his word [about his intention to sign a ceasefire agreement,” the US president told reporters on Air Force One.

Trump once again stated that the US has made progress in signing a ceasefire agreement between Ukraine and Russia. Also, he noted that there is a psychological deadline for when the fire should cease in this conflict.

In addition, the US president once again referred to Putin’s recent statement “On interim administration in Ukraine under the auspices of the UN,” which in fact once again hinted at the alleged illegitimacy of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Trump added that he was "angry" and "pissed off" at Putin.

“Some of the things that he [i.e. Putin] said over the last day or two, having to do with Zelenskyy because when he considers Zelenskyy not credible — he’s supposed to be making a deal with him, whether you like him or you don’t like him," Trump said.

Concluding on this topic, the White House chief said that he would not like to impose secondary tariffs on Russia. At the same time, he emphasized that the US will definitely impose them on Venezuela and all those countries that are deceiving Washington at this time.
