The minister of economy of Armenia, Gevorg Papoyan, on Friday received Armenian businessman and philanthropist Noubar Afeyan, informs the Ministry of Economy of Armenia.

During the meeting, the concept of creating a private Armenian investment fund within the framework of effective state-private sector cooperation, as well as improving the investment climate and increasing the appeal of Armenia, were discussed.

The minister of economy of Armenia noted that investments can greatly contribute to the country's economic development, and it is important to create appropriate conditions for foreign investors.

Papoyan stated that the Ministry of Economy of Armenia is actively working to improve investment conditions in the country and is ready to continue cooperation in initiatives important for innovation and economic growth.
