Russia is open to collaboration with Armenia and is ready for whatever the Armenian side is ready for. Mikhail Shvydkoy, Special Representative of Russian President on International Cultural Cooperation, told this to reporters in Yerevan on Sunday, RIA Novosti reports.

“Tomorrow and the day after tomorrow I will meet with the heads of various departments [of Armenia]: the foreign ministry, the ministry of culture, the government... We [i.e. Russia] are ready for whatever the Armenian side is ready for. This, perhaps, is our answer. Whatever the Armenian country is ready for, we are ready for that,” Shvydkoy noted.

According to him, this refers, in particular, to the willingness to develop relations in cinema, theater, stage art, and art education.
“This does not only apply to culture alone, we are open for collaboration,” Shvydkoy added.
