MOSCOW. – Mitch Gilbert, a resident of the US state of Colorado, did something extremely noble, as he returned to their owner the envelopes, full of money, which he had found at Los Angeles airport.  

Gilbert and his wife found two envelopes nearby the airport’s check-in section. The couple waited for the envelopes’ owner for thirty minutes, but, seeing they will be late for their own flight, they headed to Colorado.

The logo of the Caesar’s Palace casino was on the two envelopes.   

And it was only at his home that Gilbert counted the money in the envelopes, in which there was a total of US$ 10,000.

Then Gilbert tried to find out, by way of the airport staff, as to who had lost this handsome amount. And it ultimately became apparent that a man, by the name of Ignacio Marquez, had won that money at Caesar’s Palace. Having learned this, Gilbert transferred the entire amount to Marquez’s bank account, on December 23.     

Marquez insisted that Gilbert keep $1,000 for himself as a reward. The hero of this story said he had done this to set an example for children, NEWSru.com informs.
