I believe that in the near future we will discuss and make a decision on the participation of Armenian athletes in the third CIS Games. This was stated by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, Zhanna Andreasyan, speaking with reporters on Wednesday.
Andreasyan noted that this participation depends on various factors, including security measures.
“I believe the decisions should be made in the availability of comprehensive information,” the minister added.
Earlier, there were reports that Azerbaijan invited Armenia’s athletes to participate in the third CIS Games. It is noteworthy that this event will be held in six cities of Azerbaijan as well as in Stepanakert, the capital of Azerbaijani-occupied Nagorno-Karabakh.
