Getting rid of Russian influence and making decisions related to border protection are decisions of principle. Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal told reporters after meeting with Nikol Pashinyan today, April 28.

"I am very happy that you have adopted the philosophical approach that reforms improve the life of the Armenian people, and reforms that are undertaken to further improve the life of the Armenian people. So in terms of these reforms, deepening relations with the European Union can be a very good incentive. Getting rid of Russian influence, making decisions related to border protection are principled decisions and choices. It is also a conscious choice to further strengthen relations with Europe. Mr. Prime Minister also described that this has very broad support among the Armenian people," said Michal.
