The death toll from the collapse—due to an earthquake—of the State Audit Office highrise under construction in the Thai capital of Bangkok has risen to 74, the city administration said.

Rescue services are continuing their search, and 20 people are still missing under the rubble of this 30-story building.

Suriyachai Rawiwan, Director of the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, said rescuers were trying to retrieve the bodies of 10 construction workers who were found dead, with access restricted by reinforced concrete slabs.

An 8.2-magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar on March 28. The death toll from this quake has reached 3,800 in the country. Thailand was also hit by this seismic activity.
