The feeling of happiness is less related to economic expectations, WIN-Gallup International center survey states. Sociologists conducted survey among 53,000 people in 58 states on the level of their happiness. As a result, 53% say they are happy, while 13% were unhappy.

The happiest people live in the Phi Phi Island (85%), followed by Nigeria (84%), the Netherlands (77%), and Switzerland (76).

Russian people are ’unhappy’. Among other ’unhappy’ states are Czech Republic, Turkey and Bulgaria.

The sociologists also counted on religious views. People who do not belong to any religious organization are less happy.
