Nine people were injured in southern Lebanon when an Israeli drone struck a motorcycle, the Lebanese health ministry said on Tuesday, Kuna news agency reports.

According to an official statement from the health ministry's center for emergencies, three people were initially reported injured when an Israeli drone struck a motorcycle on a road in Tyre city.

But later, the National News Agency confirmed that a hostile drone had struck a motorcycle on the road, injuring several people.

Despite the ceasefire agreement signed on November 27, 2024, Israel continues to launch strikes at southern and eastern Lebanon, as well as the southern suburbs of the capital Beirut. Also, Lebanese officials have reported that Israeli troops are still stationed in five locations in southern Lebanon, violating the ceasefire.
