Russia highly appreciates Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's personal attendance to the Moscow celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the Victory Day, and despite the undisguised threats of some Western officials, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated in Yerevan, the Armenian capital, on Wednesday.

"At the Victory Parade, Russian President Putin stated that we remember and will always remember the contribution of the Armenian people also to this feat.

We [i.e. Russia] are grateful for the attentive attitude that the Armenian side shows to numerous monuments. We have seen that many events were held in the Republic [of Armenia] with great enthusiasm, including the march of the Immortal Regiment," added the Russian FM.
