We are ready. Both our infrastructure, the customs service, and the equipment that shall serve the flows on the border are ready. This was announced by Eduard Hakobyan, Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia, at a press conference on Thursday—and regarding the possible opening of the Armenian-Turkish border.

Hakobyan added, however, that he cannot say anything else.

“There is nothing new regarding the Margara checkpoint [of Armenia on the Turkish border]. The remaining issues are of a political nature and are linked to the opening of the border,” the SRC chief noted.
