President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan on Friday received Jeff Barr, Vice President of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Khachaturyan lauded Armenia's collaboration with the global technology giant Amazon, highlighting it from the perspective of the country's digital agenda, high-tech development, and the formation of an innovative environment.
Also, the president thanked Barr for his visit to Armenia, and noted that such high-level contacts are of great importance in terms of expanding bilateral cooperation.
Jeff Barr, in turn, emphasized that their collaboration with Armenia already has tangible results and is continuously developing. He noted that AWS is interested in the deepening of partnership with Armenia, especially in high tech, educational initiatives, and innovative solutions.
During the meeting, the possibilities of implementing joint programs in digitization, artificial intelligence, data management, and related sectors were discussed. They reflected also on the prospects for the development of new initiatives and projects aimed at contributing to the full attainment of Armenia's technological potential.
