Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has called the incident involving the Russian national flag in Georgian capital Tbilisi “ignorance,” Sputnik Georgia reports.
“When you go in front of several thousand people, no matter what flag you are holding, and do something like that, it does not correspond to Georgian culture. It is simply ignorance,” Kobakhidze told Georgian reporters.
Georgian musical artist Erekle Getsadze desecrated the Russian national flag during his performance at the Tbilisi Open Air festival in the Georgian capital. He threw the Russian flag into a trash can and imitated urinating on it. The video of the incident caused a lot of discontent on social media.
