At least 10 people were killed in an Israeli drone strike on a school in the Gaza Strip city of Khan Younis, medical sources said, reports Al Jazeera television.

The Israeli drone struck tents—where displaced people are living—in the area of the aforementioned school.

Children are among the casualties, but their exact number is not reported.

On March 18, the Israeli army resumed its military operations in the Gaza Strip, thus violating the ceasefire that was reached in January. After several rounds of talks brokered by Qatar, Egypt, and the United States, the Palestinian Hamas movement and Israel have failed to agree on the terms of a new ceasefire.
