YEREVAN.- Kazakhstan stands for peaceful solution to all the disputable issues in the Caucasus, said Kazakh Ambassador to Armenia Ayimdos Bozzhigitov.

Asked about Kazakhstan’s position in case of possible military attack on Iran, the Ambassador told journalists that dialogue of civilizations is his country’s priority.

“Representatives of about 140 nationalities and nearly 40 confessions live in Kazakhstan. Our country always stands for peaceful solution to disputable issues in the Caucasus region. For us, stability in the region is important,” he said.

Pentagon Chief Leon Panetta called the limiting line, after which Washington would be prepared to use force against Tehran. Panetta said U.S. would not allow closing of the Strait of Hormuz by Iran.
