The fifth president of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili was fined 5 thousand GEL for violating the law “On Meetings and Manifestations”, Novosti-Georgia writes.

Zurabishvili published the administrative protocol on her Facebook page.

"I was dubbed an activist today! And I stood where all mothers should stand - next to the mothers of prisoners of conscience!", - Zurabishvili wrote.

According to the receipt, the ex-President of Georgia violated the rules of holding rallies on March 3 on Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi.

Then Zurabishvili participated in the “march of mothers” demanding the release of detained critics of the ruling Georgian Dream party. The protesters with placards marched from the Philharmonic Hall to the Parliament.

According to the media, it appears that Zurabishvili is charged with illegal blocking of a highway.
