Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said the anti-Iran resolution adopted by the IAEA will complicate the process of nuclear talks between Tehran and Washington, Mehr reported. 

Araghchi made the statement in a video message at the end of his two-day visit to Norway.

He said his recent trip to Norway to attend the Oslo Forum was a good opportunity to present Iran's views and participate in key diplomatic discussions. 

Araghchi explained that the Oslo Forum, an annual international dialogue platform, featured a panel discussion on the future of the Middle East that included the foreign ministers of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Qatar in addition to Iran. 

The composition of the participants itself made it clear who really determines the future of the region, he noted.

Araghchi emphasized that a lasting and just future for the region is not possible without taking into account the rights of the Palestinian people. He also reiterated that the Iran-US nuclear talks received considerable attention during the forum.

Araghchi held bilateral and multilateral meetings on the sidelines of the event, including with the foreign ministers of Oman, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

As for the next round of nuclear talks with the United States, Araqchi said they are scheduled for Sunday in Oman's capital Muscat. 

“These talks will take place in the shadow of the recent IAEA resolution, which makes negotiations more difficult, but we are determined to protect Iran's rights and its nuclear achievements,” he concluded.
