The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that it will continue carrying out strikes against Iran, with the next step being to “operate freely over Tehran,” The Times of Israel reports.

A series of overnight strikes disabled Iranian air defense systems, and this morning, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir stated that “the path to Tehran has been opened.”

The IDF says it will continue targeting Iranian nuclear facilities, military sites, ballistic missile launchers, as well as military officials and nuclear scientists.
