The anti-Iran resolution of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), authored by the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and the United States, became a justification for Israeli strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities. This was stated by the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic, Abbas Araghchi, in a phone conversation with the EU’s chief diplomat Kaja Kallas.
According to the statement from Iran’s Foreign Ministry, “Araghchi criticized the recent resolution of the IAEA Board of Governors regarding Iran’s peaceful nuclear program, which was proposed by the ‘E3’ and the U.S., calling the document a justification and a basis for hostile actions by the Zionist regime against Iran’s nuclear facilities.”
