Iran considers negotiations with the United States meaningless as long as Israeli aggression continues. As stated by the official representative of Iran’s foreign ministry, Esmail Baghaei, the Islamic Republic’s main task is to counter the Jewish state.
“The enemies of diplomacy and peace have imposed a brutal war on the Iranian people, and the U.S., despite all statements about dialogue and diplomacy, supported the aggression of the Zionist regime, which is also aimed at Iran’s civilian nuclear facilities. It is obvious that under such circumstances, and as long as the Zionist regime’s aggression against the Iranian people does not stop, it is meaningless to conduct dialogue with a side that is the main supporter and accomplice of the aggressor,” Baghaei’s words were cited by the Iranian foreign ministry. “In the current situation, our main task is to confront the enemy’s aggression,” he added.
