Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Israel has inflicted "serious damage" to Iran’s nuclear facilities as a result of its airstrikes over the past two days, reports Times of Israel.
"We also struck the team of senior scientists leading these projects," he said in a video address, adding that the strikes have delayed Iran’s nuclear program by several years. "There is also a serious threat posed by ballistic missiles."
According to Netanyahu, Israel has "deprived" Iran of the ability to produce such weapons.
"Very soon you will see Israeli Air Force planes in the skies over Tehran. We will strike all targets of the ayatollah regime," Netanyahu declared, adding that the strikes so far are "nothing compared to what will happen in the coming days."
