Under the chairmanship of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, a security meeting was held at the Presidential Complex in Ankara, Anadolu Agency reports, citing the Communications Directorate of the Turkish Presidency.

The agenda focused on recent developments related to the regional conflict that erupted following Israeli attacks on Iran.

The meeting covered all aspects of the crisis, including Israel’s increasing aggression, diplomatic efforts to halt the hostilities, the implications for regional and global security, and the necessary measures to be taken.

Possible scenarios for the conflict’s progression and Turkey’s corresponding preparations were also discussed.

Participants included Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, Head of the National Intelligence Organization İbrahim Kalın, and the official spokesperson of the Justice and Development Party (AKP), Ömer Çelik.
