Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated during a phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron that the current Israeli attacks are being carried out in close coordination with the United States, according to the press office of the Iranian president.
Pezeshkian emphasized that if the US wished, they could "put this regime in its place."
“The Islamic Republic of Iran has always been ready to achieve mutual understanding and agreement through dialogue and cooperation. Unfortunately, instead of accepting our arguments, the world powers have accepted the lies of a regime that seeks to sow chaos in the region,” he told Macron.
He added that Tehran will not change its stance on the nuclear dossier and will not accept irrational demands.
In response, the French president said during the call that Paris is ready to cooperate more actively in the process of resolving the nuclear issue.
“France was unaware of Israel’s intention to attack Iran and did not participate in this matter, so we hope these events will not harm cooperation and relations between us,” Macron said.
