On Saturday, Iraq called on the United States to prevent Israeli aircraft from violating Iraqi airspace to carry out strikes against Iran, citing bilateral agreements and international law, Reuters reports.

“The Iraqi government strongly urges the United States to fulfill its obligations under the agreements signed between the two countries and to prevent aircraft belonging to the Zionist entity from violating Iraqi airspace again,” said military spokesperson Sabah al-Numan in a statement.
