Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has released the names of seven commanders of the aerospace forces who were killed along with their chief, General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, in Tehran on Friday morning, Mehr reports.
The deceased include commanders Mahmoud Bagheri, Davoud Chaichian, Mohammad Bagher Taheripour, Mansour Safarpour, Masoud Tayeb, Khosrow Hassani, Javad Joursara, and Mohammad Agajafari.
The IRGC offered condolences over the deaths of the commanders, stating that “their names will go down in history for the sacrifices they made in defense of their homeland.”
The statement also declared that “the fake Zionist regime is doomed to fail and will face complete destruction.”
It is worth noting that most of Iran’s military leadership was killed on the very first day of Israel’s attacks.
