Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, after the Iranian attacks overnight that resulted in civilian casualties in Israel, threatened that the Iranian capital Tehran residents “will pay the price” for the actions of the Islamic Republic’s authorities.

“The arrogant dictator from Tehran has become a cowardly murderer, targeting civilian areas in Israel in order to deter the IDF [i.e. the Israel Defense Forces] from continuing its attack, which is crippling his capabilities. The residents of Tehran will pay the price, and soon,” the Israeli defense minister wrote on X.
