Iran calls on the UN Security Council to adopt a resolution condemning Israel’s attack on the Islamic Republic, Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said.

“All UN member states, including the five permanent members of the Security Council, must express a position on this attack, condemn it, and take serious steps, including adopting a resolution with clear and unambiguous wording that condemns this attack,” Baghaei said during his weekly press briefing.

Also, he called on the US to officially call Israel’s attack an “aggression.”

On June 13, Israel attacked Iran, which was followed by retaliatory measures. Military actions between the two countries are continuing.
