The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have already destroyed a third of Iran’s surface-to-surface missile sites in their strikes on the Islamic Republic, the IDF press service reports.

More than 120 missile sites have been destroyed since the start of the operation, which makes up a third of the Iran's total missile sites, the IDF said.

It noted that last night the Israeli Air Force was able to destroy 20 Iranian ballistic missiles in the Israeli rear, minutes before they were launched.

About 50 Israeli Air Force fighter jets and some other aircraft participated in these night strikes, part of whose mission was to destroy the missile sites, the IDF press service stated.

In addition to missile sites, they attacked missile depots and command posts where new attacks on Israel were being prepared, the IDF added.

On June 13, Israel attacked Iran, which was followed by retaliatory measures. Military actions between the two countries are continuing.
