US President Donald Trump has stated that everyone in the Iranian capital Tehran must be evacuated immediately.

"Iran should have signed the ‘deal’ I told them to sign. What a shame, and waste of human life. Simply stated, Iran can not have a nuclear weapon. I said it over and over again! Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!" Trump wrote in a post on his Truth Social platform.

As is often the case with Trump's statements, it is unclear what he means.

Following his post about the evacuation of Tehran, Trump made several more short posts on the same topic; in particular, the following: "the meaning of 'America First' is many great things - including the fact that Iran cannot possess nuclear weapons. !!!Make America Great Again!!!"
