Shamshyan.com was contacted Tuesday by a large number of Armenian truckers who have been in Iran for ten days, near Armenia’s Agarak border checkpoint, but are unable to enter Armenia, reports shamshyan.com.
They said: “At the Iran-Agarak customs house, the Armenian [truck] drivers are in a neglected state to the point that they are not allowed to leave here, but Persians can both leave and enter without any problems, whereas we have been standing there for ten days and have no hope that we will be able to leave through this customs house in the coming days. We have called our customs house, but our complaint has been ignored again. More than 1,000 [Armenian] trucks are left [stranded] in the territory of Iran and have no hope of getting out.”
