A total of 110 Indian citizens have been evacuated from Iran via Armenia. Ani Badalyan, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia, told this to Sputnik Armenia.

Earlier it became known that the issue of the aforesaid evacuation and assistance from Yerevan was discussed during a telephone conversation between the foreign ministers of Armenia and India on Monday.

Indian media also have reported about this evacuation via Armenian territory.

The evacuation of these Indian nationals is being carried out amid the escalation of the Iranian-Israeli conflict.

On June 13, Israel attacked Iran, which was followed by retaliatory measures. Military actions between the two countries are continuing.
