Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Alexander Tieman, the newly appointed head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission in Armenia, the PM’s office informs.

The premier highlighted Armenia's cooperation with the IMF in order to promote economic development and ensure stability in the country.

The interlocutors discussed the programs being implemented in collaboration between Armenia and the IMF, and touched upon future tasks.

Also, views were exchanged on the progress of reforms being implemented in Armenia, the improvement of the financial sector, the investment climate, the promotion of economic activity, overcoming existing risks in the country, and several other matters.
