We do not have any information about radiation leakage as a result of attacks on nuclear facilities. Iranian ambassador to Armenia Mehdi Sobhani stated this at a press conference in Yerevan on Tuesday—and regarding the Israeli attacks on Iran.
According to him, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has not issued a respective report either.
Sobhani added that the Natanz nuclear plant of Iran is very far from Armenia, and therefore there is no reason to worry.
The Iranian ambassador to Armenia emphasized that Tehran was engaged in organizational matters to ensure the transfer of people from Armenia to Iran who were unable to reach Iran due to canceled or delayed flights because of the current situation.
On June 13, Israel attacked Iran, and this was followed by retaliatory measures by Iran. Military actions between the two countries are continuing to this day.
