Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had a phone call with US President Donald Trump, an Israeli official said, reports The Times of Israel.

Netanyahu said yesterday that he has spoken with Trump almost every day since the Israel-Iran conflict broke out last week.

Comments from Trump over the past day have raised speculation that the US could join Israel in striking Iran.

On June 13, Israel attacked Iran, and this was followed by retaliatory measures by Iran. Military actions between the two countries are continuing to this day.
