One of the objectives of Israel’s military operation against Iran is the destruction of its supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has said.

Katz made this statement at the site of a direct hit by an Iranian missile on a building in the suburbs of Tel Aviv, Ynet reports.

Ending the existence of Khamenei is one of the objectives of the Israeli military operation against Iran, Katz said.

On June 13, Israel attacked Iran, and this was followed by retaliatory measures by Iran. Military actions between the two countries are continuing to this day.
