Iran was not building a nuclear bomb at the time of Israel's first bombing, said International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) director general Rafael Grossi, La Nacion daily reports.

At the moment, the answer is no. However, there were many elements that led to this. One must be very careful with chronological issues. We all remember the tragic statement that Iraq needed 45 minutes to use its weapons, Grossi said, answering the question of whether Iran was building a nuclear bomb.

Earlier, the IAEA chief had stated that there was a risk of radiation leakage after Israel's strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.

On June 13, Israel attacked Iran, and this was followed by retaliatory measures by Iran. Military actions between the two countries are continuing to this day.
