Israel is now facing the consequences of its aggression against Iran, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said.
"The Zionist enemy [i.e. Israel] is being punished. It is being punished right now," Khamenei said in a statement from his press service on X.
On June 13, Israel attacked Iran, and this was followed by retaliatory measures by Iran. Military actions between the two countries are continuing to this day.
