Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a telephone conversation with the Vice President of the European Commission, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas. Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed about it by the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry.The interlocutors discussed the situation in the region, including Iran.

They exchanged views on the efforts aimed at ensuring regional stability. In the context of humanitarian issues, they touched upon the possibility of evacuation of third-country nationals from Iran through the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

They also discussed the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Touching upon the RA-EU cooperation, Mirzoyan and Kallas exchanged views on the agenda of the upcoming contacts.
