The Armenian Embassies in Iran and Israel continue to maintain constant communication with Armenian citizens in those countries. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ani Badalyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

"At the moment, since June 13, two dozen Armenian citizens have been evacuated from Israel, including a group of tourists from Bethlehem.

About three dozen Armenian citizens have applied to the Armenian Embassy in Iran, mainly on issues related to their relocation to Armenia. The Embassy provided relevant information and, depending on the situation and necessity, provided assistance. The MFA has also received requests from foreign citizens to evacuate from Iran through the territory of Armenia. This concerns both the members of the diplomatic corps of foreign countries operating in Iran and their family members, as well as other citizens. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs provided them with the necessary assistance in an urgent manner.

The citizens of Kazakhstan, France, Germany, Spain, Cyprus, Austria, Norway, Switzerland, Georgia, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Sierra Leone were also quickly assisted in evacuation. Citizens of other countries, including the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Russia, Sweden, the Netherlands, Italy, Poland, Australia, Lebanon, were also evacuated across the Armenian border.

There are also requests for assistance from other countries," Badalyan noted.
