Iran does not intend to stop the development of its nuclear industry after the strikes on a number of nuclear facilities in the Islamic Republic, and expects the international community to condemn these strikes, according to a statement from the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI).

“We expect the international community to condemn this lawlessness based on the law of the jungle, and to support Iran in achieving its legitimate rights. The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran assures the great Iranian nation that, despite the evil conspiracies of its enemies, through the efforts of thousands of its scientists, it will not allow the development of the national nuclear industry to be stopped,” the statement published on the AEOI Telegram channel reads.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump announced a successful American military operation against three Iranian nuclear sites in Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan. The president stated that after the US strikes, Tehran should agree “to end this war.” Fars news agency, citing Iranian authorities, reported that nuclear sites in Isfahan and Fordow were targeted by airstrikes. Mohsen Rezaee, a member of Iran’s Expediency Discernment Council, earlier said that Iran had moved all of its “enriched nuclear materials” to a secure location.
