Tehran has called for an emergency meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors following US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, according to a statement from Iran’s Foreign Ministry.

“Today, more than ever, the responsibility of the IAEA and its Director General [Rafael Grossi], who has shown clear bias in favor of the warring sides and thereby contributed to the recent catastrophe, is evident. We call on the IAEA Board of Governors to hold an emergency meeting and fulfill its legal obligations in connection with the dangerous US attack on Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities, which were under the agency’s strict supervision and operating within the framework of the Safeguards Agreement,” the statement reads.
