A meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors, focused on the situation in Iran following U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, will be held on June 23, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi announced.

“In light of the emergency situation in Iran, I am convening an extraordinary meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors tomorrow,” Grossi wrote on X.

Overnight on June 22, the U.S. carried out strikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities — Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. The IAEA reported that it had not received any information indicating elevated radiation levels outside Iran’s nuclear sites following the U.S. attacks.
