Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi plans to visit Russia to hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Mehr News Agency reports.

At a press conference in Istanbul on Sunday morning, the senior Iranian diplomat stated that he intends to travel to Moscow on Monday.

He said that he would hold serious consultations in Russia tomorrow.

His visit also includes a meeting with the Russian president.

Araghchi’s trip to Moscow comes against the backdrop of Israeli and U.S. attacks on Iranian territory.
