Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has arrived in Moscow, where he plans to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, reports IRNA news agency.

The Iranian FM plans to consult with the Russian leader and senior officials on regional and international issues related to the US and Israeli strikes on the Islamic Republic.

Earlier, Araghchi announced that his meeting with Putin is scheduled for Monday in Moscow. He noted that Russia and Iran have signed a strategic partnership agreement, and Moscow and Tehran hold consultations and coordinate their positions on a regular basis.

Russian foreign ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova confirmed to TASS that Abbas Araghchi has arrived in Moscow, where he will hold a series of talks.
