Israeli and US aggression against Iran is fraught with serious consequences, the minister of foreign affairs of the Islamic Republic, Abbas Araghchi, stated upon his arrival in Moscow.

“The actions [of Israel and the United States] have serious consequences and create problems not only for Iran, but also for the region, the international community, and international law,” said the Iranian FM.

According to him, the attacks of Israel and the US on Iran can only be viewed as aggression, while the Islamic Republic is acting within the framework of legitimate self-defense.

Early Sunday morning, US President Donald Trump announced that the US military had successfully attacked three Iranian nuclear facilities—in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. Trump added that Tehran must agree to end the conflict. Israel has been carrying out daily strikes on Iran since June 13 as part of its operation against Iran's nuclear program.
