Sil Group has denied the statement by Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation  regarding any connection between Member of Parliament Khachatur Sukiasyan and ADM Diamond LLC, which is involved in the case of stolen diamonds from a Russian company.

Anna Mkrtchyan, the press secretary of Sil Group wrote on her Facebook page commenting on the latest defamatory rumors circulating in the media today, writing:

“Today, yet another piece of disinformation was spread in the Russian press, claiming that a group had allegedly been arrested in the Russian Federation for stealing diamonds from Alrosa and supposedly supplying them to a company owned by Armenian MP Khachatur Sukiasyan. I want to state that this is yet another completely false report, has no connection to reality, and is entirely fabricated. This is a continuation of previous disinformation, which falsely claimed that Khachatur Sukiasyan was buying the Electric Networks of Armenia to sell them to the Turks. The style is the same, and I believe similar fake news will continue to appear. One could say that an information war has been declared. Once again, I repeat — this news is entirely false.”
