France has recorded 145 cases where participants of the street music festival Fête de la musique, held on June 21, reported assaults with syringes. Among the incidents - 13 occurred in Paris. Police have detained 12 suspects. This is reported by The Guardian.

Four of the detainees are residents of the city of Angoulême, they are suspected of involvement in the attacks on 50 people. Gender, age and nationality of the suspects are not officially disclosed. It is noted that on the eve of the festival in social networks there were calls for violence against women, but among the victims there are also men. In particular, in Paris, the victim of the injection was an 18-year-old young man.

Authorities have not yet confirmed whether any drugs were injected, including substances that can cause loss of consciousness. Some of the victims have been hospitalized for toxicology tests.

Paris police launched an investigation after three official statements. Among the victims was a 15-year-old girl who, like others, complained of feeling worse after the injection.
