Explosions erupted over Qatar's capital, Doha. According to Reuters, the air defense systems are believed to have been triggered. According to the publication Axios with reference to sources, the armed forces of Iran fired six missiles at U.S. military facilities in Qatar. 

One of the targets is the Al-Udeid airbase, located southwest of Doha. That is where the headquarters of the U.S. Central Command of the Armed Forces (CENTCOM) in the region is located.
